What is Seamless Glimmer Permanent Jewelry?

Permanent Jewelry is a dainty chain that we custom fit and weld closed. It is considered permanent because the bracelet is welded closed, it doesn’t have a clasp, creating a seamless permanent bracelet!

The process is painless, easy, and fun! Great for modern day friendship bracelets, milestones, mother daughter bonding, bachelorette parties, or simply to treat yourself to the easiest accessory you will ever own. Seamless glimmer permanent jewelry is the perfect everyday accessory!

Where do I get my seamless glimmer permanent jewelry?

We host monthly permanent jewelry pop-ups at Mod Mountain Boutique in downtown Castle Rock, located at 215 Wilcox Street, Unit B, Castle Rock, CO 80104. We recommend following our Facebook and Instagram pages for pop-up dates and information. You can also contact us here.

Is it safe to get permanent jewelry?

Yes, our welds are 100% safe! Alison Kelley is a seasoned metalsmith with years of experience and have trained on welding machine to ensure a smooth experience.

Is there anyone who shouldn’t undergo the permanent jewelry process?

Yes. If you have a pacemaker, you should not undergo the welding procedure.

How long does it take?

While the actual welding process only takes a second, fitting the bracelet can take time. Expect the process to take 10-15 minutes.

What metals can I choose from?

Sterling Silver, Gold Filled, and Rose Gold Filled options.

How much does permanent jewelry cost?

Cost is dependent on chain and what chain you pick and if you want to add a charm. Sterling silver bracelets start at $50, gold filled bracelets start at $80. 

Can charms be added?

Yes! We have a wide range of charms that you can pick from. Prices range is $14 and upwards.

Can I purchase a gift card?

Absolutely! We offer gift cards that can be purchased during pop-ups. Please contact us for exact details.

Can I have repairs made or a re-weld? What is the cost?

Yes! If your permanent jewelry items break or needs repairs, please contact us so we may schedule your repair during a pop-up. Re-welds for new customers costs $15.

Do you offer permanent necklaces and anklets?

Yes, however please note that anklets and necklaces are more likely to get snagged, stretch or break. Wear is at your own risk; Alison Kelley Designs and or hosting facility is not responsible for lost chains. Available only if supplies are existing.

How permanent is my welded jewelry and what if I want or need to remove it?

Permanent jewelry is only permanent until you don’t want it to be! At any time and for any reason, you can cut the added fused jump ring with either nail clippers of scissors. Save your chain as we can reweld it at a later date. Re-weld chains need to be as close to its original form as possible, if it is beyond repair an entire new chain will need to be purchased. Alison Kelley Designs is not responsible for any lost jewelry.

I’m quite active, is welded jewelry for me?

Absolutely! Many active Coloradans wear their seamless glimmer jewelry with pride and comfort. Keep in mind that chains used for permanent jewelry are dainty ~ a good pull can break the links. We can't guarantee your chain will last forever but we are happy to do our best to fix it when possible, a re-weld fee of $15 may apply. Please wear mindfully! As a custom item, sales of permanent welded jewelry are final. 

Can I bring my own chain or bracelet to be welded?

No. Our permanent jewelry service is only available with chains we provide.

How do I care form my seamless glimmer welded jewelry?

You can clean your welded jewelry with a soft toothbrush, warm water, baking soda or dish soap.  A safe and true cleaning method can be found on my Blog. Note: use warm water not boiling water as you will need to submerge your arm or ankle with this method. 

Will permanent jewelry give me trouble through the airport?

No! TSA doesn’t ask you to remove fine jewelry when going through security. 

Do you repair permanent jewelry purchased elsewhere?

Yes. If you have a permanent bracelet that you purchased elsewhere, and it needs to be repaired, please contact us.  

If I loose my permanent jewelry do you replace it?

Regrettably, we are unable to provide replacements, refunds, or discounts for allergic reactions, lost, broken or snagged chains. Your permanent jewelry is measured to fit perfectly on you, it should not break. If it were to break, save the chain and we are happy to re-weld it. If the chain is lost, a new chain will need to be purchased.

Can I buy permanent jewelry as a gift?

Yes! Simply purchase a gift card with any nomination your desire. Contact us here for more details.

Can I book a private event?

Yes! Plan your next event in-store or for your home parties! Birthdays, Bachelorettes, Bridal Showers, Pop-Ups, Corporate Events, you name it! 

Deposit is required to book private event. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date and time. This deposit will be applied to your total cost of permanent jewelry. 

  • 6 person minimum (purchasing permanent jewelry) is required for this party.

  • The host receives a 20% discount on all jewelry going on their body.

**All must sign a consent waiver, anyone under 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian present and able to sit completely still during process.
